First Steps to A New Smile

If you want an improved smile, the first step is to visit your dentist. At this visit he or she will talk about what's best for YOU and consult any signs of dental disease in need of treatment - it’s important remember that before we start cosmetic procedures!

This dental visit is the time to ask questions, such as:

What are my choices?

When you visit the dentist, they will examine your teeth and make a treatment plan to get them looking their best. They can do this through various procedures like root canal therapy or cosmetic dental work such as crowns!

What are my expectations?

It is important to have realistic expectations about your new smile. Complex cases may take more time and several steps. You and your dentist should be in agreement on the expected results of your new smile.

How much time will it take?

Some procedures take only one office visit. Others take a few office visits. Your dentist can tell you how long your treatment will take.

How can I get ready?

Your dentist can tell you what to expect during your treatment. You may want to ask if your treatment will require anesthesia and how you can prepare for it.

How much will this cost?

It's important to talk about treatment costs with your dental practice before the procedure. Many practices offer payment plans and can help you access the full value of insurance benefits, whether through low-interest financing or repayment by monthly premiums after care is delivered (depending on what your policy covers). If patients are not eligible for certain treatments due solely because they're cosmetic in nature then it may still make sense financially--and ethically!--to ask if there might be room within these limits so we don't miss out!

How will my new smile look?

Your dentist is committed to giving you the best treatment possible and will show pictures of other patients before, during, and after their treatments. They may also use computer imaging software or false "stand-ins" so that this can be done in a way where it's more realistic than just showing one patient's smile at a time!

How do I care for my new smile?

With your new smile come new responsibilities. Your dentist will give a detailed plan for the care of your new smile, but you may also have a few questions.

Will there be follow-up or maintenance appointments? Are there special instructions during recovery? Will the dental work need to be replaced eventually?

Why wait for your dentist to make you happy when they can help boost self esteem? 99.7% of people believe that a smile is important in society, and with so many options out there it's time we start taking care of ourselves more than ever before! Talk about what dentists are equipped at doing - making sure every tooth has their proper place just as much attention paid towards aesthetics like color or shape work all the way down from porcelain veneers if necessary). Have some teeth problems but not quite ready yet? That doesn't mean continue suffering...talk today;)
