Dr. Jacqueline Wong D.M.D., M.M.Sc. has been with us since 2005.
Dr. Wong is a specialist in the field of periodontics – the branch of dentistry concerned with the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of disease affecting the gums and supporting structure of the teeth. Without gum tissue and supporting structures, other treatments of the oral cavity may not be possible (Imagine a pyramid without a good foundation).
Dr. Wong is a board certified periodontist of the American Board of Periodontology. She received her dental training as well as her specialty in periodontics degree at the Harvard School of Dental Medicine. She is the 2000 recipients of the Quintessence Award for Clinical Achievement in Periodontics and the Annual Award presented by the American Academy of Periodontology.
Having been with Fillmore Dental since 2005, Dr. Wong values the importance of patient education and prevention of disease. Since her father has been through intensive periodontal therapy, she understands the need to listen to her patients’ concerns and to ensure their comfort.
When Dr. Wong is not working as periodontist, she enjoys spending time with her family.
